"Patient Transporter LAK FT Days"

Position Summary

Transports patients to and from Department and assists technologists with patient care and positioning. Assists with clerical duties, film filing, film processing and other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• BLS Certification and maintain current
• Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System

Preferred Qualifications

• HS Degree or equivalent
• Hospital Transport experience
• Knowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and forms

Physical Requirements

1. Requires the ability to walk pushing equipment up to 400 pounds frequently. 2. Must have dexterity, coordination, visual/auditory acuity to perform duties. 3. Must be able to reach, stretch and assist patients routinely
