Activities and context
The selected fellow will establish and apply the Cell Painting approach – a state-of-the-art, high-dimensional image-based morphological profiling assay to decipher the mechanisms of action of Brazilian natural compounds against the intracellular bacteria.
Mandatory requirements
PhD in bioinformatics, microbiology, pharmacology, cell biology or correlated field. Previous experience in data analysis, bioinformatics/informatics or big data curation is mandatory.
Desirable requirements
Previous experience in fluorescence microscopy, microbiology/parasitology, cell biology and in vitro drug testing will be considered an advantage.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
