The scope of anesthesia for this position includes most pediatric subspecialities including but not limited to pediatric surgery, ENT (including craniofacial), urology, orthopedics, neurosurgery, trauma, gastroenterology, and acute pain. He/she should also be comfortable with regional anesthesia.
The candidate will primarily perform these services in the
operating room or in radiology and will take their share of
in-house and pager calls. Candidates are also expected to
contribute to the teaching needs of the Department and the School
of Medicine primarily through occasional medical student and fellow
education at the bedside. There is no expectation to contribute to
the research missions of the University.
The candidate must have a strong working and theoretical knowledge
of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine and experience in
teaching Anesthesiology. To be considered for appointment at the
rank of Sr. Instructor, the candidate will have completed ACGME
fellowship training in clinical pediatric anesthesiology

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
All attending anesthesiologists must be licensed to practice
medicine in the State of Colorado. All are expected to be either in
the examination process of the American Board of Anesthesiology
("board eligible") or a Diplomat of the Board in both
Anesthesiology and Pediatric Anesthesiology, or to be holding
certification of foreign training that is recognized as equivalent
to a diploma of the American Board of Anesthesiology. Maintenance
of Certification in Anesthesiology (MOCA) participation is required
for all board-certified faculty.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of
hire.
· Licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado by
effective hire date

American Board of Anesthesiologists ("board eligible") or a
Diplomat of the Board, or to be holding certification of foreign
