Job Duties: The Department of Pediatrics at The University of Wisconsin is recruiting an exceptional Pediatric Cardiology Advanced Imaging Physician to join our Division of Cardiology. We are looking for candidates with a track record of clinical excellence and interest in education as demonstrated through training and/or practice experience. Individuals interested in this position should have 4th year fellowship training in advanced imaging including fetal echocardiography. Those with strong focus and experience with congenital cardiac echocardiography, including additional experiences with 3D echocardiography are encouraged to apply, as well.

- This position requires work to be completed onsite, at a designated campus work location.

The selected candidate will be required to pass an initial caregiver check to be eligible for employment under the Wisconsin Caregiver Law and every four years.
- Applicants for this position will be considered for the titles: Clinical Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Professor (CHS), Associate Professor (CHS), or Assistant Professor (CHS). The title is determined by the experience and qualifications of the finalist.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Our providers participate in clinical teaching of fellows, residents and medical students, and support the teaching and clinical research missions of the division and department.
- Physicians hired on the Clinical Health Sciences (CHS) track will participate in administrative and committee work to support the clinical and scholarly missions of UW Health and the School of Medicine and Public Health. An essential part of these duties will be working in a collegial relationship with other faculty members.
- Clinical expectations include providing interpretation of all modalities of congenital echocardiograms – fetal, transthoracic, and transesophageal echocardiography. Additional responsibilities include outpatient ambulatory cardiology clinic and inpatient service attending.
Department: School of Medicine and Public Health, Department of Pediatrics, Division of Cardiology. The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is a vibrant academic department comprising more than 200 faculty members in 16 subspecialty divisions. The division recognizes that excellence in pediatric cardiovascular medicine and surgery requires a well-coordinated team approach to care. Important contributors to divisional activities include physicians (pediatric specialists in cardiology, cardiovascular surgery, critical care medicine, anesthesiology and perfusion, and high-risk obstetricians), nurse practitioners, registered nurses, echocardiography technicians, exercise physiologists, and our patients, their families, and their referring physicians. We strive for excellence in service and clarity in communication with our patients' families and with their physicians.

Required Qualifications:
- Board certification or board eligibility in American Board of Pediatrics is required by the appointment start date.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Cardiology through the American Board of Pediatrics is required by appointment start date.
- The candidate is required to have a Wisconsin medical license by the appointment start date.
- Must be eligible for enrollment as a billing provider and for all necessary hospital privileges by the appointment start date.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A 4th year of fellowship training in advanced cardiology imaging, including transthoracic, transesophageal, 3D, and fetal echocardiography, is highly preferred.
- For an appointment at Associate Professor or Professor rank on the CHS or CT Track, candidates will meet criteria established by the department and as outlined in the School of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for promotion or appointment to Associate or Professor on the CHS or CT Track.
Education: MD, DO, or equivalent is required
