"Pediatric Emergency Medicine Clinical Assistant Professor"

The Pediatric Emergency Medicine Division in the Department of Pediatrics at UNC Chapel Hill School of Medicine is seeking a general pediatrician or pediatric emergency physician to fill a full-time, fixed term, Clinical Assistant Professor position to provide direct patient care solely in the Children's Urgent Care in Raleigh, or a hybrid of Children's Urgent Care and low acuity Pediatric ED shifts in Chapel Hill. The Children's Urgent Care is open from 4p-midnight Monday-Friday and noon-midnight on weekends and serves patients from birth through young adulthood. Responsibilities include teaching and supervising residents from a variety of specialties and learners from various healthcare professions including medical students, NP and PA students. Our Department and Division offer multiple opportunities for faculty development and help foster strong mentoring relationships throughout the University and Medical Center. All division faculty members are expected to perform scholarly work to enhance the academic mission of the division. Salary will be commensurate with candidate experience and come coupled with a generous benefit package.
