Pediatric Urologic Surgeon (Open Rank)

Position Summary

University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill’s Department of Urology is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Urological Surgeon to provide advanced surgical and medical care for children with complex urological conditions. This is an open-rank recruitment and academic rank will be awarded at a level commensurate with experience.

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

• MD, DO, or equivalent.
• Must be licensed or eligible for licensure to practice medicine within the state of North Carolina.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

• Board certified/board eligible urologist with sub-specialty training in Pediatric Urology.
• The applicant should have a demonstrated commitment to patient care and teaching at all levels.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills are important.
