Located in Ōtautahi | Christchurch, Aotearoa | New Zealand
- Full-time (37.5 hours per week) or Part-time (min 30 hours per week)

Āu Mahi | What You Will Do
An exciting fixed term opportunity has arisen in our People and Culture team due to an internal secondment. Join us and help deliver our vision of exceptional service to UC staff. In this role, you'll apply your HR expertise across a wide range of processes, empowering and enabling UC staff to make a difference. In this busy role you'll be preparing and coordinating employment documentation, answering queries, supporting recruitment and onboarding, and contributing to continuous improvements and projects. This role offers variety, collaboration, and the chance to learn from a highly experienced team.
We welcome applications from candidates seeking either a full-time or part-time role (minimum 30 hrs/week).

- An exceptional, detail-focused administrator with experience in a fast-paced HR environment

- Experienced in customer service, especially working with diverse groups and handling confidential information
You will also bring:
- Proven accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to maintain standards under pressure
- Experience in HR functions within medium to large organisations
- Experience in interpretation and application of relevant legislation with a good working knowledge of employment legislation and employment agreements
- Familiarity with Payroll/HR/Recruitment systems, policies, procedures, guidelines, and current best practice
