Why Your Role Matters
The People Partner plays a key role in enabling stakeholders to manage people matters with confidence, care, and consistency. Embedded within the business partnering team, the role provides responsive, people-centric support across the employee lifecycle, with a focus on resolving complex people issues, enabling fair and consistent processes, and strengthening people leadership across the organisation. This HR generalist role partners closely with senior leaders, specialist P&C teams, Senior People Partners and the People Experience team to orchestrate end-to-end delivery of key people programs including workforce planning, capability uplift, employee relations risk management, culture and change initiatives.
Who You Are (skills and experience)
- A relevant degree with extensive experience in human resources, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Strong working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and enterprise agreements, with demonstrated experience in applying these to resolve complex people matters.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels including some mentoring.
- Demonstrated capability to deliver timely, practical HR advice in a dynamic and complex environment.
- Ability to interpret and apply people data and insights to inform decision-making and continuous improvement.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and contexts.
