About the Job

Position Summary

The University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine seeks an accomplished and visionary veterinary medical oncologist for the Perlman Endowed Chair in Medical Oncology. This tenure-track faculty position will provide strategic leadership in advancing translational cancer research, clinical innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration at the intersection of animal, human, and environmental health.

The successful candidate will develop a nationally and internationally recognized research program that leverages the comparative oncology strengths of the College while contributing to the University's broader One Health and health sciences missions. The position includes opportunities to build collaborative programs across the Masonic Cancer Center, Medical School, School of Public Health, College of Biological Sciences, College of Food, Agricultural and Natural Resource Sciences, and external industry partners.

This endowed position is intended to serve as a catalyst for future growth, fostering innovative research programs that attract extramural funding, develop new partnerships, and position the College as a leader in precision oncology and comparative cancer research.

Job Responsibilities
