This is an Extended Temporary Employment (ETE) position. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Under moderate guidance, reviews requests for AAA permits, treatment plans and reports associated with the BEAD program for alignment with policy, including evaluating qualifications of prospective Project Directors and Principal Investigators for listing on AAA Permits and provides recommendations to the AAA Permits Office Manager; flags risks and recommends standard conditions. Escalates complex cases to higher level staff.
• Prepares draft notices, summaries of determinations, and consultation materials consistent with legal and institutional templates; coordinates review and approvals.
• Serves as the primary point of contact to obtain necessary signatures, missing application materials, and return of materials to applicants.
• Maintains paper, electronic records and database for the BEAD Program in the Permits Office including invoices, Notifications of Intent to Survey, permit applications, PD/PI applications, and other tasks performed by AAA Permits Office.
• Coordinates invoicing tasks for, and maintains the Mandated Programs database related to, tasks performed by the AAA Permits Office.
• Participate in risk assessments to identify compliance risks within AAA Permits Office. Document audit findings and assist in developing corrective action plans as needed.
