- The Pharmaceutical Sciences course offered at Eastern Mediterranean University is a multidisciplinary doctoral programme that consists 6 different modules in the field of pharmacy (Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Pharmaceutical Toxicology, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosis).
- Upon their enrolment to the programme, doctoral students select one of these modules and complete five area elective courses (total of 15 credits) along with three additional electives of their choice (total of 9 credits). Once they pass the doctoral qualification exam, they can begin their dissertation research.

Other requirements
General requirements:
- To have a degree from the Faculty of Pharmacy or to have completed a master’s degree in fields such as Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, etc.
- To obtain the minimum score in English Proficiency examinations: YÖKDİL: 66, IELTS: 6.5, TOEFL (PBT): 548, TOEFL (CBT): 211, TOEFL (IBT): 79, EMU English Proficiency Exam: 75. Candidates who fail to present any English Proficiency Certificate may take the proficiency exam carried out by EMU Foreign Languages and English Preparatory School.

International tuition fees apply to students who are not citizens or permanent residents of the study country. Non-residents: 764 AUD / module (≈ 550 USD / module).
