Position Summary

AUIB is seeking a dynamic and experienced part-time pharmacist to drive its mission of improving the health and wellness of our communities. In this pivotal role, the Full-time pharmacist will review prescriptions, dispense medications. deliver and label medications & provide information and advice to patients. Key Responsibilities

1. Reviewing prescriptions,
2. Dispense medications.
3. Delivering and labeling medications,
4. Providing information and advice to patients
5. Organizing and indexing pharmacy medications.
6. Respond to requests during and after working hours.
7. Working on pharmacy paperwork including daily and weekly reports.

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. Should be thorough, patient, and able to stay calm under pressure
2. Should have excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
3. Should evaluate the contents and side effects of prescribed medication to ensure the patient’s safety.
4. Should explain to patients about how to take medication and what its potential side effects are.
5. Should educate the patients about using or administering their medications.

Education and Experience

• Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in pharmacology from a recognized educational institution.
• Years of Relevant Experience: minimum 5 years of experience
• Specific Skills or Expertise: Fluent in Arabic and English language with excellent communication skills.
• Additional Certifications: additional training and internationally respected certificates are preferred
