Research environment
They have an exciting and vibrant research environment at Aston Business School that enables our PhD students to be engaged in various research events and seminars (Aston Business School-wide and PhD-specific). Our PhDs have a dedicated research society which organises various social and academic related events throughout the year, including the BSS Annual Doctoral Conference. We strongly believe that these activities are an essential part of ensuring our PhD students are engaged and motivated throughout the duration of their PhD journey.

GPA: Upper Second Class
English requirements
TOEFL® IBT: 93 OR 4.5 (New TOEFL iBT 1-6 score (CEFR-aligned). Equivalent to the 0-120 score.)
PTE Academic: 67
IELTS: 6.5

General requirements
- A First or Upper Second Class Honours undergraduate degree, and a Masters degree with Merit or Distinction, both in relevant subjects.
- Qualifications from overseas institutions will be considered, but performance must be equivalent to that described above, and the University reserves the right to ascertain this equivalence according to its own criteria.
