DESCRIPTION
The candidate will conduct PhD doctoral studies in Jaume I University. Requirement is to obtain the PhD grade in three to four years.
The candidate will be involved in NAR-ULT project, which aims to develop experimentally high-efficient ultra-low temperature systems using only natural refrigerants. Target of the project is to develop and validate experimentally at least two prototypes achieving -150ºC in the refrigerated space.
The research will focus on advanced modelling of ULT refrigeration architectures, design of the test rigs, building of prototypes, monitoring, testing and evaluation of performance. High level of refrigeration is required to contribute to the project.
Candidate will join a multidisciplinary team with high expertise in refrigeration using natural refrigerants (centralized, commercial, ultra-low temperature, cryogenics) and heat pumps. Group is highly international.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
- A Master level is required to apply to the contract.
- Graduate in Engineering is required (mechanical, thermodynamics, chemical, industrial or similar)
- Good level of English (written and spoken)
- Availability to travel
- Good knowledge of refrigeration science.
- Refrigeration facility construction and testing skills.
