Job Summary
- Research Focus:
- Computational quantum chemistry and spectroscopy with emphasis on magnetic resonance
- Understanding the relationship between molecular/electronic structure and spectroscopic parameters
- Focus on heavy element compounds
- Methods and Tools:
- Density Functional Theory (DFT) and theoretical spectroscopy
- Access to state-of-the-art computational resources and NMR instrumentation
Candidate Profile
Must-have qualifications:
- MSc or equivalent in Physical Sciences, Chemistry, Chemical Physics, or related field
- Strong interest in electronic structure and quantum chemistry
- Hands-on experience with computational quantum chemistry and programming is a strong plus
- Fluency in English (spoken and written)
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- High motivation and collaborative mindset
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in computational quantum chemistry and spectroscopy
- Utilize computational tools and core facilities for simulations and analyses
- Contribute to publications in peer-reviewed journals
- Collaborate with team members and participate in research group activities
