"PhD Candidate in Psychological Safety and Moral Leadership"

Job Summary

The PhD position is a full-time appointment for four years within the program 'Organizing Psychological Safety and Moral Leadership'. The research focuses on strengthening psychological safety and the role of moral leadership, particularly in organizations like the military. It examines how psychological safety can be enhanced and integrated, using organizational theory, ethics, and qualitative or multi-method approaches.

Responsibilities

• Conduct high-quality research on psychological and social safety and/or moral leadership
• Teach at the bachelor level and supervise bachelor and master theses
• Follow relevant PhD-level courses to develop academic and methodological skills
• Contribute to education within the faculty, such as leading workgroups or giving lectures
• Collaborate with team members from the School of Business and Economics and partners from the Academic Workplace Social Safety

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hold an MPhil in management research or an MSc in business administration, organizational sciences, philosophy, sociology, or related disciplines, with a clear research orientation and thorough qualitative or multi-method research skills
• Enjoy scientific teamwork and have ambition to publish in top journals

What the Employer Offers

• A temporary contract for 1 year, extendable to 4 years upon positive evaluation
• Salary ranging from €2,901 to €3,707 gross per month for full-time employment, based on education and experience
