The general aim of the PhD degree of Biotechnology from Universidade de Aveiro is to train top-level researchers with a balance between basic and applied research in various areas of Biotechnology, namely in three distinct areas: Medical (red), Industrial (white) and Marine (Blue) Biotechnology.
