Programme Structure
Courses include
- You'll be joining a dynamic community of research students at Master's and doctoral levels, including a number of international students.
- Recent postgraduate topics have ranged across a broad swathe of musical creativity, including inventing new mechatronic instruments, composing music to be performed across a network, composing large-scale works for jazz big band and composing an opera.
- Postgraduate research students at NZSM get their own workspace in the School.

- IELTS: 6.5. The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading).
