Research focus:
- Development of AI models for closed-loop design of molecular binders (e.g., proteins/antibodies).
- Integration of generative AI and molecular predictors for multi-parameter optimization.
- Investigation of sequence-structure-function molecular representation spaces to support efficient AI exploration.
- Biasing generative models toward desired properties such as developability and expression.
- Validation and iterative improvement of closed-loop design systems based on experimental data.
Responsibilities:
- Propose and implement AI and optimization algorithms for binder design.
- Coordinate computational activities within a cross-disciplinary team involving automation and biotech.
- Test and refine AI-driven closed-loop systems on new molecular scaffolds.
- Mentor MSc students and collaborate with other postdocs and PhDs.
Required qualifications:
- Master’s degree (2 years, 120 ECTS or equivalent) in relevant fields.
- Experience with machine learning, generative AI models, and molecular design.
- Ability to work in cross-disciplinary research collaborations.
- Interest in mentoring and teamwork.
Collaboration & environment:
- Joint research between DTU Compute (AI/ML focus) and Novo Nordisk (life sciences).
