Overview
The health care sector comprises one of the largest areas of total government expenditure in New Zealand. Develop a systematic understanding of the key social, political and economic factors contributing to national health challenges and learn to devise solutions based on the most up-to-date research and evidence.
We offer a PhD in Health Policy, Planning and Service Delivery degree at the Victoria University of Wellington.

PTE Academic – PTE Academic (Pearson Test of English) is a language test that enables students to demonstrate their writing, listening, speaking, and reading skills when applying to study in English. The score refers to a total score which ranges between 10 and 90. Required score: 58.
IELTS – The International English Language Test System (IELTS) tests your English-language proficiency on a scale of 1 – 9. The score refers to the combined average score of 4 subjects (writing, listening, speaking, and reading). Required score: 6.5.
Other requirements
General requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with Honours, or Master’s degree, or postgraduate diploma in a relevant subject with at least a B average, and at least five years' professional experience. You may also be required to demonstrate your proficiency in English.
