Overview
The ultimate goal of the Psychology programme from European University Cyprus (EUC) is to train early stage researchers to become independent and to be able to carry out rigorous research in their chosen field of interest.
Successful candidates will be expected to work in universities and research institutes and organisations in Cyprus and abroad or to establish their own practice.

General requirements
- Applicants to the PhD in Psychology program of study must hold a Master’s degree or its equivalent in the scientific field of Psychology or in a related scientific field (such as Mental Health, Social Work, Nursing, Education, Medicine, or other Health Sciences disciplines).
- Applicants must demonstrate a strong academic background and hold a minimum weighted average grade of “B” or equivalent in their Master’s degree, in accordance with the grading system of European University Cyprus.
- Applicants are responsible for requesting from two academic referees to submit their reference letter directly to the Office of Admissions.
- Copies of relevant publications (up to two).
- Curriculum Vitae (CV).

International / EU/EEA: 7,820 AUD / year (≈ 4,800 EUR / year)
Living costs
Nicosia, Cyprus: 938-1,411 AUD / month. The living costs include the total expenses per month, covering accommodation, public transportation, utilities (electricity, internet), books and groceries.
