Overview
Join the Doctoral degree of Translation and Terminology from Universidade de Aveiro. In response to the emergence of new professional profiles, the program integrates key domains such as Specialised Translation, Terminology, and Technical Communication, supporting the development of innovative projects with potential impact on organisations and the educational sector. It promotes a systematic understanding of the processes and products of translation studies and terminology, as well as other areas of application that intersect with these and present new challenges, while encouraging interdisciplinary approaches.
The PDTT contributes to the development of advanced knowledge in broader theoretical and methodological perspectives, such as Machine Translation, revision of technical-scientific texts, and pre- and post-editing. It also promotes the capacity to carry out research and foster discussion on challenges and results at national and international forums, thereby contributing to the ongoing development of these study domains and reinforcing their social responsibility.
