PhD position in Materials Science/ /Pharmacology research
A PhD supported by the National Agency for Research (Agence Nationale de la Recherche, ANR) grant is available at the Institute of Materials Science of Mulhouse, France (http://www.is2m.uha.fr/) under the direction of Dr Valeriy Luchnikov, and Prof Thierry Vandamme (Faculty of Pharmacy of the University of Strasbourg). This position at the interface between material science and pharmacology research will start the 31 May 2026. This is a full-time position for a maximum of three years.We offer full social security and benefits, access to training courses, conferences, and international collaborations, and a dynamic, multidisciplinary research environment.
PhD researcher will participate in a project devoted to the development of a new design of gastroretentive oral dosages. The experimental research will be accompanied by theoretical analysis and by computer simulation. Candidate should be motivated, adaptable, and willing to integrate a multidisciplinary team, open to new ideas and concepts. The proven experience of the design of experimental setups and engineering skills will be appreciated. The acquintance with the pharmaceitical laboratory equipment and spectroscopic methods (UV-VIS, IR, Raman) is highly desirable.
