PhD Position in Mechanical Engineering

The Department of Engineering Science at NCKU invites applications for tenure-track faculty positions at all professional levels. Established in 1965, our department is the first multidisciplinary department in Taiwan, and our programs have consistently been ranked among the best engineering departments in the world.

We seek to attract exceptional candidates with interests and expertise in the areas of Intelligent Materials Design and Solid Mechanics, with preference given to candidates whose research lies in one of the following areas:

• Intelligent Materials Design and Analysis
• Theoretical Analysis
• Computational Mechanics
• Mechanical Design
• Intelligent Manufacturing

Candidates must hold an earned Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field by the beginning of employment.

1. Curriculum vitae, research statement, and teaching statement
2. Three reference letters
3. Copy of doctoral degree certificate
4. Copy of academic transcripts (both undergraduate and graduate studies)
5. Five selected publications
