As part of our recently announced call for 11 PhD positions within CRC/SFB 1739, we're highlighting a project investigating how low-grade inflammation in cardiovascular disease drives peri-implantitis in dental implant patients, supervised by Dr. Jaana Kern.
You will work with a clinical cohort of implant patients, primary/iPSC-derived PDL cells, coagulation assays with titanium discs, high-resolution proteomics/peptidomics, NGS sequencing, and osteogenic differentiation assays (ELISA, OLINK, RT-PCR).
Looking for: MSc in Biology, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, Molecular Medicine, Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Biomedical Engineering, Dentistry, Medicine, or related field. Dentistry-background candidates are welcome to also join the clinical part of the project.
