Offer Description
The PhD program aims to train highly qualified researchers capable of conducting research of the highest scientific standard and of meeting the needs for innovation and development within agri-food, forestry and environmental systems at regional, national and international levels. The programme is structured around the following research areas:
- agrometeorology, plant ecophysiology and crop adaptation to climate change;
- productivity, sustainability and resilience of cropping systems;
- management, protection and enhancement of agricultural and forestry production systems, with particular reference to the conservation of natural resources and ecosystem services;
- agricultural and agri-food biotechnologies aimed at innovation in production processes and the sustainability of supply chains
