Research Position: PhD Scholar

Title of the project: Real time measurement of moisture using a quartz crystal resonator operating at a constant frequency and amplitude

Essential Qualifications:

1. First class in M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. in Experimental Physics, Chemistry, Nanotechnology, Materials, MEMS, Chemical, Electronics, Acoustics, Mechanical, Sensors & Instrumentation, or equivalent from a recognized University is needed.
2. Valid GATE score or a high score in UGC-NET/CSIR/ICMR/DST-INSPIRE or have at least two years of professional work experience if no national exam is qualified.
3. A B.E. degree with an outstanding academic record may also be considered.

Desirable Qualifications: Experience in working with electronic and/or acoustic sensors will be preferred.

Project Duration: 4 Years (Maximum)

Stipend: A monthly stipend of Rs. 42,800 per month will be provided for three years from BITS Pilani with B.E. or MSc qualification. A monthly stipend of Rs. 45,800 per month will be provided for three years from BITS Pilani with M.Tech. or M.E qualification. An annual stipend of AUD $35,886 will be provided for up to one year during the period of stay in Melbourne, Australia.

Job Location: The student would be spending three years at BITS Pilani Hyderabad campus and one year at RMIT University, Australia in the PhD tenure.
