Professional requirements:
- Knowledge of the principles of molecular and cellular immunology, particularly the biology of T and B lymphocytes, antigen-specific immune responses, TCR/BCR signaling, and the mechanisms of autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases.
- Experience with basic methods of experimental immunology and molecular biology, particularly processing primary biological samples, preparing samples or libraries for sequencing, and cell culture.
- Knowledge of high-dimensional biological data analysis and experience with statistical processing in R and/or Python.
- Knowledge of processing and bioinformatic analysis of transcriptomic data generated by bulk RNA-seq and single-cell RNA-seq, including quality control, normalization, data integration, and differential expression analysis.
- Knowledge of the principles of TCR and/or BCR repertoire analysis, including assessment of clonality, diversity, clonal expansion, and convergence of receptor sequences.
- Experience using publicly available transcriptomic and sequencing databases and systematically processing and integrating data from multiple independent datasets.
- Knowledge of functional and pathway analysis of transcriptomic data, including gene-set enrichment methods and the use of biological databases such as Gene Ontology, KEGG, and Reactome.
- Knowledge of the principles of structural bioinformatics and molecular protein modeling, particularly prediction of 3D receptor structures, analysis of protein–protein/protein–peptide interactions, and prediction of antigenic epitopes.
- Ability to link bioinformatic analysis with experimental validation of results, including designing experiments for functional validation of candidate receptors, antigens, or molecular markers.
