Job title: PhD student - Imunology
Scientific department: Department of Biophysics of Immune System
Size of workload: 0.5 FTE
Length of employment: 1. 10. 2026 – 31. 12. 2027
Minimum educational attainment: Master's degree
Qualification level: R1
Professional requirements:
- Knowledge of the principles of molecular and cellular immunology, particularly the biology of antigen-presenting cells, T and B lymphocytes, antigen-specific immune responses, TCR/BCR signaling, and the mechanisms of autoimmune and chronic inflammatory diseases.
- Knowledge of conducting experimental models of differentiation of human antigen-presenting cells and lymphocytes.
- Knowledge of conducting experimental models for functional testing of protein immunogenicity using primary human leukocytes.
- Knowledge of cell analysis and cell sorting using BD Aria and BD S8 flow cytometers.
- Knowledge of routine immunological and cell biology methods, including western blotting, ELISA, ELISPOT, and RT-PCR.
- Ability to communicate fluently in English with international colleagues and during stays abroad.
Language requirements: English, minimum level B2
