The University of Navarra (UNAV) is a non-profit private university founded in 1952 based in Pamplona, Spain. Offer description
We invite applications for a highly motivated student with a background in Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmacy, or a related discipline to join an international research project on the gut microbiota, functional ingredients based on probiotics and postbiotics, and intestinal and metabolic health. The selected candidate will undertake a PhD project using a range of in vivo models (C. elegans and rodent models) and will apply advanced techniques in molecular biology, biochemistry, and omics analyses to address an innovative research project.

This doctoral research will be conducted in Pamplona (Spain) within the PhD Programme in Food, Physiology and Health at the School of Pharmacy and Nutrition, under the joint supervision of Dr. Paula Aranaz and Dr. Carlos J. González Navarro.
