Physical Therapy/Assistants
Job Summary
The physical therapist will lead the Otago Exercise Program (OEP) for individuals living with dementia in nursing homes and assisted living facilities. The OEP is a fall prevention program. It will be group-led and involve strength and balance training from the OEP manual as well as walking.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 5-7 participants living with dementia per group 3x/week, including 30 min of strength and balance training and 20 minutes of walking. Oversee volunteers and legally authorized representatives. Work with healthcare professionals at the nursing home and/or assisted living facility to communicate about participant needs. Transport participants to and from their room. Report adverse events. Take exercise attendance.

Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (.49 fte)
Pay Band: 13
Salary to be commensurate with qualifications of the selected candidate within the established range (generally minimum-midpoint) of the position
