Physician - Department of Radiology, Nuclear Medicine Physician/Nuclear Radiologist(Open Rank/Track Faculty)
Position Overview
The Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University College of Medicine/Wexner Medical Center is seeking candidates for faculty positions in Nuclear Medicine who are passionate about collaborative, patient-centered clinical excellence, dedicated to advancing research and innovation, committed to education, and inspire inclusivity.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Daytime primary coverage of imaging and therapeutic services with home call split between the faculty members as primary coverage from 5 pm to 8pm Tu-Mo and backup support to resident coverage from 8pm to 8am
- Faculty must be comfortable with high volume diagnostic practice as well as management of a busy therapeutics clinic, including participation in both clinically available radiopharmaceuticals and involvement within department sponsored clinical trials
- Contributes to the day-to-day clinical operations of the Nuclear Medicine Division of the Department of Radiology
- Education, Training, and Faculty Development
- Research and Scholarship
Requirements
- M.D., D.O, or foreign equivalent
- Board eligible or certified in Nuclear Medicine, or Radiology with subspecialty certification: (ABNM, ABR, AOBR)
- Completion of Subspecialty fellowship in Nuclear Medicine if no Nuclear Medicine residency by time of appointment
- Must possess or be eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio
