research program to complement the department's strength in
gynecologic cancer research.
Develop novel diagnostic and therapeutic strategies against the
major malignant pathologies of the female reproductive tract.
Work with colleagues and programs both inside and outside the
Dept of Ob/Gyn to secure extramural funds to maintain a robust
research program.
Mentor graduate students and postdoctoral (MD and or PhD)

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum three years' experience as a post-doctoral
fellow/researcher working in the field of biomolecular physiology,
biochemistry, immunology, bioinformatics, or related field.
- Firsthand grant application experience and a strong publication
record, appropriate to stage of career.
- Completion of a four-year approved/accredited residency program
in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Completion of three- or four-year approved/accredited
fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology.
- Laparoscopic and robotic gynecologic oncology experience.
- Eligible for Wisconsin medical license.
- Board certified or eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
- Board certified or eligible in Gynecologic Oncology.
Preferred Qualifications:
- More than 3 years of experience at the post-doctoral level;
training in didactic education.
- Experience in developing an independent research project.
- Experience researching gynecologic malignancies.
- Experience in mentoring undergraduate and graduate
students.
- Experience in gaining external NIH funding.
- Completion of at least 3 years or equivalent of biomedical
cancer research.
- Independent research funding preferred.
- Completion of at least 3 years of independent clinical
practice.
- Candidates for Associate Professor (Tenure) or Professor
(Tenure) must meet criteria for appointment at rank per UW School
of Medicine and Public Health guidelines for appointment and
promotion on the Tenure track.
