PMRC Field Crew Member
Position Summary
This position implements the installation, maintenance, treatment, measurement, and documentation of research field plots of a large, regional, forestry field research program from Virginia to Florida to East Texas. The individual in this position follows study work plans and established protocols in executing tasks. The individual works as part of a crew and independently.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, treat, measure, sample, and document PMRC research field trials, working independently or as part of a crew.
- Execute field program tasks as scheduled by PMRC Research Coordinator and Field Crew Leader and following study work plans and established protocols.
- Implement competition control, fertilization, thinning, and other treatments.
- Measure and sample planted pine and secondary vegetation.
- Ensure safety, quality, and efficiency in all activities.
