Olympic College is recruiting an adjunct faculty to join the faculty and staff team in the Social Sciences (Survey Course) & Humanities Division. The position will be part-time Political Science faculty, teaching primarily Intro to Political Science and American Government as well as other common-course numbered POLS& classes. This position requires in-person instruction with daytime availability between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:15 PM and evenings as required from 5:00 PM to 7:15 PM.

Essential Functions

• Teach evening, distance, and in-person classes on the Poulsbo, Shelton, and Bremerton campuses when requested
• Provide quality teaching, including related preparation, grading, and record keeping.
• Provide class syllabi to students enrolled in classes by the first day of classes and to the division office as requested.
• Identify individual learning needs of students and make appropriate adjustments in learning environments and activities to meet those needs.
• Punctually communicate with students, faculty, staff, and administrators.
• Perform other related duties as assigned and/or required.
