Essential Duties Summary
- Power washing
- Maintain trash compactors, trash shoots & dumpster areas
- Cleaning of light fixtures
- Straightening of furniture, removal of waste
- Remove trash and replace liners in public (common area) trash cans
- Removal of furniture, trash, and other household items from vacated apartments
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

% FTE: 1.0
Hiring Range: $18.08 - $23.05
Education: High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent preferred, field experience or military experience may be substituted.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Knowledge of: Routine, preventive and corrective building maintenance Requires seasoned skills in the job function or professional discipline; performs more complex, but expected work for a fully competent incumbent in the function or discipline; demonstrates an understanding of most work routines, rules, procedures and operations; may give advice to other, less experienced positions or provide technical leadership to job classifications performing similar work
Ability to: Work well with a diverse staff and student population Read, write and speak English, and perform simple arithmetic calculations
Work Experience: One (1) year experience in landscaping and grounds operation.
