About

The Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases of Xiamen University School of Medicine is a newly established research institution with an area of 1500m². It is located in the Cardiovascular Hospital of Xiamen University, adjacent to Wuyuanwan Wetland Park. It has 6 research laboratories (vascular biology research laboratory, cardiac biology research laboratory, scientific research room, regenerative medicine research room, cell therapy research room, precision medicine research room, translational medicine research room) and 2 technical support platforms (model animal center, bioinformatics and biotechnology center). The Institute has purchased advanced instruments and equipment, and built a domestically advanced and world-class biomedical research technology platform, including a stem cell and cell biology research platform, a bioimaging center, a high-throughput sequencing and nucleic acid drug development platform, molecular biology test platform and SPF animal room and animal experiment platform.

The Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases has a solid research foundation in a variety of disciplines. The institute combines the characteristics of “transformation” and “precision” to clarify important life activities from ontogeny to tissue aging, from cell renewal to cell death. He has profound research accomplishments in the fields of cardiovascular, stem cells, non-coding nucleic acids and tumor cell biology mechanisms, and is at the international leading level. In addition, the Institute has unique advantages in genomics, nucleic acid modification and cardiovascular disease translational research and “precision research”.

At present, the institute is developing and expanding. In order to further strengthen the construction of the teaching staff, the institute is now openly recruiting professional and technical talents at various levels at home and abroad.

Institute for Translational Medicine, Cardiovascular Hospital, Xiamen University is located in the beautiful city, Xiamen, China. We are recruiting outstanding scientists to join the institute. The open positions include postdoctoral research associate, assistant professor, associate professor and professor. The institute has six centers, and we also recruit center directors.
