Our research program seeks to identify novel pathways used by bacteria to cause disease. One major area of research interest is how the human pathogen Staphylococcus aureus responds to, and utilizes, host fatty acids. We use a multidisciplinary approach of cell-based assays, biochemistry, protein structure and function, and immunology. If interested, please send a letter describing your research experience/interest/future career aspirations, your CV, and contact information for three references.
