Offer Description
The Federico II University Penitentiary Center at the Secondigliano P. Mandato Penitentiary Center was founded in 2017 and opened in the first academic year [contact details available in the full listing]). The over 100 students are divided into two sections: the high-security "Ionio" and the medium-security "Mediterraneo." The spaces, and therefore the time and movement options within the Pavilions, are very different, and the University, as part of the work of the National Conference of Penitentiary Facilities (PUP) at the CRUI (Italian University Rectorate), is committed to developing guidelines for national penitentiary facilities with PUPs.
As part of the research, the post-doc position (A) will be responsible for further exploring general aspects through a scientific study of the Secondigliano Center's spaces.
This position also includes participation in the scientific, teaching, and third mission activities of the CEAR-09/A scientific disciplinary group operating at the Department of Architecture.
