JOB PURPOSE:
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Wyoming invites applications for a 1-year postdoctoral position in mathematical analysis, starting in Fall 2026. This position will offer a salary of $65,000 plus fringe benefits.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Pursue an active research program in mathematical analysis. This may include real, complex, harmonic, functional, or other major branches of analysis.
Collaborate with faculty in related areas and contribute to the broader mathematical community at the University of Wyoming.
Teaching duties may be assigned (at most one course per semester).
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Ph.D. in mathematics (with emphasis in analysis or a closely related field) required by the start date.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong research record and potential for independent work and collaboration preferred. Teaching experience preferred.
