"Post-Doctoral Associate in the Division of Science (Organic Synthesis) - Dr. Tynchtyk Amatov"

The Amatov Laboratory in the Chemistry Program of the Division of Science at New York University Abu Dhabi invites applications for a postdoctoral researcher position. The successful candidate will contribute to a range of cutting-edge projects at the intersection of organic synthesis, catalysis, and chemical biology.

Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Chemistry or be on track to complete their doctoral degree before the anticipated start date of March 11, 2026. Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise in synthetic organic chemistry, particularly in areas such as catalysis, methodology development, total synthesis of natural products, photoredox or electro-catalysis, and computational mechanistic studies.

We are seeking highly motivated individuals who, beyond technical excellence, demonstrate intellectual initiative, a strong work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a multidisciplinary research environment. Outstanding written and verbal communication skills are essential.

The terms of employment are very competitive and include housing and educational subsidies for children.
