We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral researcher to join an interdisciplinary team working on the development of digital twin models for critically ill patients in the intensive care unit (ICU). This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a cutting-edge project at the intersection of computational modeling, data science, and clinical medicine. The successful candidate will work closely with clinicians, intensivists, and computational scientists to develop patient-specific, predictive models using real-world clinical data. The project aims to enhance understanding of disease trajectories, optimize treatment strategies, and support real-time clinical decision-making.

Key Duties

  • Integrate and analyze high-dimensional clinical datasets, including time-series physiological and laboratory data.
  • Collaborate with ICU physicians and clinical partners to ensure physiological relevance and clinical applicability.
  • Contribute to manuscript preparation, grant writing, and dissemination of findings at scientific meetings.
  • Work collaboratively and independently with laboratories and researchers within Rutgers.
  • Attend and actively participate in both weekly and monthly group research meetings and discussions.
