POSTDOCTORAL ASSOCIATE New York University Tandon School of Engineering
The Modestino Group at NYU Tandon School of Engineering is seeking to hire a Post Doctoral Associate to work on a technology acceleration project related to an electrochemical long-duration energy storage system.

The Modestino Group is part of Tandon’s Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department and focuses on electrochemical engineering approaches to sustainability.
Expectations
Candidates will be responsible for leading the development of prototypes of electrochemical reactors for both hydrogen production and energy storage and identifying appropriate application spaces. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated background in electrochemical engineering, reactor design and prototyping, flow chemistry, technology evaluation and commercialization, and strong communication skills as exemplified by a strong publication record, experience with technology innovation and presentations in public forums.
Salary rangeIn compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary for this position is $62,500 to $70,000 depending on the candidate’s experience and qualification.
Qualifications
Candidates should have a PhD in Chemical Engineering or a related field. We welcome applicants with recent PhDs and individuals seeking additional postdoctoral training. Candidates will be required to present eligibility to work in the United States.
