Position Summary
The College of Engineering at the University of Georgia is seeking to grow and diversify its programs through investments in researchers with expertise in advanced signal processing and artificial intelligence as it applies to the research and scholarship in Cyber-Physical Systems including but not limited to power and health systems. The College invites applications for multiple postdoc positions in Advanced Signal Processing and Artificial Intelligence in Cyber-Physical Systems. This position will be centered in the College of Engineering’s Center for Cyber-Physical Systems (CCPS) and will be supervised by the Center Director. This is a 1-year appointment (12 months).
Duties/Responsibilities
- Conduct research and development. (60%)
- Coordinate the project and team members. (30%)
- Manage events with project partners. (10%)
Relevant/Preferred Education, Experience, Licensure, Certification in Position
A Ph.D. in any engineering discipline relevant to the field of machine learning and signal processing. Preference given to candidates who exhibit a strong record of research, scholarship, and instruction and a focus on interdisciplinary scholarship that addresses critical societal challenges.
