Job Summary:

The Brzezinski Lab is seeking a postdoctoral fellow to conduct research on the development of the mammalian retina. This is a 1.0 FTE with a 6 month appointment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing and planning research projects.
• Performing developmental genetics experiments using mammalian (mouse/human) retinal tissues.
• Performing routine molecular biological techniques.

Work Location:

This role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Ph.D. in a relevant biomedical science discipline.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior vision science research experience.
• Prior experience with rodent model systems.
• Experience with genetic techniques.

The starting salary range for this position has been established as follows: Postdoctoral 0: $62,232; Postdoctoral 1: $62,652; Postdoctoral 2: $63,120; Postdoctoral 3: $65,640; Postdoctoral 4: $67,824; Postdoctoral 5: $70,344.
