Advertised Job Summary
Investigates the neurophysiological mechanisms underlying neurodevelopmental disorders by integrating in-house and public biomedical data, including neuroimaging, genomics, and transcriptomics (e.g., UK Biobank, ABCD, ENIGMA, HBCD and etc). A key focus of our research is understanding how early life stress shapes brain development, cognitive functioning, and dimensional aspects of psychopathology.
Job Related Minimum Required Education and Experience
Requires a Doctoral (Ph.D.) degree in area of research specialty.
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. in neuroscience, biostatistics, or psychology. Candidates with strong programming is preferred. Excellent communication skills, ability to work both independently and collaboratively, ability to lead and mentor. Knowledge of Neuroscience & Neurodevelopmental Disorders, Genetics & Environmental Influences. Skilled in Data Analysis.

Job Duties
- Conduct a range of neuroimaging and genomics-based analyses, design and implement computational models, and lead the preparation of manuscripts. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 30)
- Support the PI in preparing grant proposals by contributing to preliminary data analysis and submitting their own grant or fellowship applications, with mentorship and support provided by the lab. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 30)
- Managing, updating, and maintaining research datasets, including neuroimaging, genetic, and clinical data. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 20)
- Mentor junior researchers (Ph.D., master’s students, and undergraduate interns) by providing guidance on research design, technical skills, and academic writing; fostering independent scholarship and professional growth. (Essential Function: Yes, Percentage of Time: 20)
