Post-doctoral Fellow in the AIDS Institute of the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine
Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the AIDS Institute of the Department of Microbiology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533543), to commence as soon as possible for one to two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, preferably in Medicine, Microbiology, Biology, or a related discipline. They should be highly competent in immunology and molecular biology techniques, and able to work independently and in a team. Preference will be given to those with work experience in transcriptome, animal models and molecular experiments. The appointee is expected to play an important role in the team on molecular mechanisms of protective immune responses during HIV infection or cancer immunotherapy. He/She will design and perform experiments involving animal immunization, immune assays, flow cytometry, cell imaging, deep sequencing and data analysis, etc. Enquiries about the post should be sent to the AIDS Institute at aidsinst@hku.hk.
