Project Title: Developing an Information System to Optimize Religious Tourism in Tamil Nadu

Essential Qualifications:

• Post Doctoral Fellow: A Doctoral Degree in any specified disciplines- Comparative Religion (Saivism/ Vasishavsim/ Jainism/ Buddhism/ Islamic Studies/ Christian Studies)/ Computer Science/ Library & Information Science. Desired Qualification: i) Reading and writing skills in English and Tamil. ii) Working Knowledge in Design and Development of Webpages. iii) Working Knowledge in content creation.
• Technical Staff: Post-Graduate Degree in any specified disciplines Computer Science/ Library & Information Science. Desired Qualification: i) Reading and writing skills in English and Tamil. ii) Working Knowledge in RDBMS: Web Server.
• Project Fellow: Post-Graduate Degree in any specified disciplines- Anthropology/ Archaeology/ Buddhist Studies/ Philosophy/ Saivism/ Saiva Siddhanta/ Islamic Studies /Management Studies/Tamil/ Any other related disciplines. Desired Qualification: i) Reading and writing skills in English and Tamil. ii) Willing to travel and visit sacred sites of all religions in Tamil Nadu. iii) Working Knowledge in computers.

Candidate Profile:

• All the candidates must have completed PG in their relevant discipline.
• Candidates should work with a lot of dedication and discipline.
• Good Communication Skills.

Pay Scale:

• Post Doctoral Fellow: Rs.55,000/- per month (Consolidated)
• Technical Staff: Rs.20,000/- per month (Consolidated)
• Project Fellow: Rs.18,000/- per month (Consolidated)
