Activities
This opportunity is part of a Thematic Project whose main objective is to investigate the role of chemistry in mediating interactions between plants and their herbivores, with an emphasis on biotransformations in the digestive systems of lepidopterans.
Mandatory requirements
- To have concluded the doctorate;
- Possess proven experience in natural products chemistry, to be evaluated through academic background, scientific publications, and international experience;
- Solid experience in interpreting NMR (Nuclear Magnetic Resonance) data;
- Possess intellectual independence and an appreciation for a scientific career;
- Be fluent in English;
- Dedicate oneself fully and exclusively to the activities of the research project;
- Reside in the city of São Paulo (Brazil) during the development of the project.
Desirable requirements
Possess teamwork skills.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a FAPESP Post-Doctoral fellowship in the amount of R$ 12,570.00 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent on items directly related to the research activity.
