Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad, Sangareddy, Telangana, is recruiting for Post-Doctoral Research Fellow positions. The organization profile: IIT Hyderabad is part of history in the making. In a very short time, just about a year, IIT Hyderabad has made significant strides. IIT Hyderabad admitted the first batch of 111 B.Tech. students, and started functioning on August 20, 2008. Three departments, CSE, EE & ME were initiated. The first year had its highs and lows but was an exciting period that will be etched in the minds of the pioneer batch. In January 2009, IIT Hyderabad admitted 11 PhD students.

Employment Type: Temporary

Essential qualifications: Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering/Biotechnology/Microbiology/Chemical Engg/Climate Change or other allied areas. Experience with handling chromatography instruments preferred. Experience with electrochemistry preferred. Publication in Scopus indexed journals will have an added advantage. Candidates who have previous experience in designing and developing experimental setups preferred. The candidate should have good academic records throughout and good writing/communication skills. Candidates should not have published in Predatory Journals.

Job Location: Hyderabad, Telangana

Fellowship: Consolidated pay Rs.70,680 to Rs85,000 per month (including HRA) based on postdoc experience

Duration of appointment: The position is for one year, with an extension subject to performance through a review process.
